Parent Teacher Interviews begin next week and spots are booking up fast!
This year, the interviews will be conducted over the phone. Please ensure you have arranged a time through our Sentral Parent Portal. Your chid's teacher will call you at your allocated time.
- Kindergarten: Tuesday 1st September
- Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2): Wednesday 2nd September
- Stage 2 (Years 3 and 4): Thursday 3rd September
- Stage 3 (Years 5 and 6): Monday 7th September
There are still a number of families without bookings. If you are having difficulty booking a time, please follow these instructions. If you are still having problems, contact the school.
Bookings close this Friday 28th August at 4pm
STEP 1: REGISTER FOR THE SENTRAL PARENT PORTAL
Most of our parents completed this step during our booking period for interviews in Term 1 (which were cancelled due to COVID restrictions).
Go to https://peps.sentral.com.au/portal/register and use a valid email address to create an account.
Allow up to 24 hours for your registration to be approved by the school.
STEP 2: USE YOUR ACCESS KEY TO LINK YOUR ACCOUNT
Once approved, you will need to log in at https://peps.sentral.com.au/portal and use the email address and password you created in Step 1.
You will then be asked for an access key. These were sent home with students at the beginning of August. If you have misplaced your access key, please send the school an email or a message through SZApp and we will send you your access key.
STEP 3: BOOK A TIME
Once you've linked your account to your child, you should see an option to book an interview time. The greyed out times have already been booked by another family.
STEP 4: PREPARE FOR THE CALL
In order to not waste any of your ten-minute time slot, please ensure you will be somewhere with good phone reception. Ensure your phone has adequate charge. If you would like to have two or more people on the call, ensure the space you are using is suitable for speaker phone conversations. We will be sending out instructions for 'merging calls' for those who would like to have more than one parent in more than one location on the line.
Ten minutes goes quickly, so think about some questions you would like to ask the teacher in that time.
While we will miss seeing you all face-to-face this year, we are confident the phone interviews will go smoothly and provide you with a great opportunity to stay informed with your child's learning.
