Additional learning support

At our school, we ensure every student is ready to learn. We support students with disability and additional learning needs so they can take part in all areas of school life. You do not need a formal diagnosis for your child to receive support in a mainstream class. Support can begin at any stage of school.

Support that fits your child's needs

Some students need extra support to feel confident and do their best at school. We work closely with families to make support plans and adjustments  that suits each child’s needs.

Is your child starting Kindergarten within the next 2 years?

Students with additional learning needs may be eligible for additional support through the NSW Department of Education. To access this support, it's best to get in touch with us well before your child is due to start Kindergarten.

Early Intervention

Your child may be eligible to attend an early intervention preschool in our area, or access early intervention resource support, in the 12 months prior to beginning Kindergarten. To apply for this support, you need to contact us at least 18 months prior to when your child is due to commence Kindergarten.

Support Class

We can apply for support class placements for eligible students within our catchment area. If your child has additional learning needs which may require a support class setting, it is best to get in touch with us at least 9 months before your child is due to commence Kindergarten.

Integration Funding Support

Some students with additional needs are eligible to receive additional support within the mainstream classes through NSW Department of Education integration funding. If your child has a diagnosed learning difficulty, please let us know at enrolment so we can discuss the options to support your child.
